  • …make up some excuse about skipping the annual dinner with friends in order to score tickets to the Blazer game at 5 pm at the Rose Garden, or…
  • …insist that my hosts (who are not basketball fans) turn a television on so I can catch scores, or…
  • …suck it up and avoid any mentions of the game until I can get home to my TiVo-ed copy.

    I’ll be at the game. Just prior to the winning streak, the team was selling 20 game packages for $100. Christmas night is game #1. Lucky me!

    By now, I am sure you figured out the most amiable solution. And I’m sure you Tivo’ed it just in case. So Enjoy, especially at $5.00 a pop! And to the family, no fair giving backlash, regardless of the choice. After all, you wouldn’t want an unhappy guest at your gathering.
