Mark your calendars friends. It is time again for our monthly Portland Metblogs meetup. The last couple’s dates were wonky due to the holiday, but in December we had a great turnout of 15+ people at the Green Dragon. I still owe McAngrypants some beer! (crap, was that my outside voice?) We’re going to try a new locale this month to shake things up and keep it real. There is a newish bar up on E. Burnside/11th named The Chesterfield. You may have been there. I have and love the Cylon room. If you haven’t been there, you gotta come just to understand this Battlestar reference from the original series.

The date is January 23rd. We usually begin gathering around 5:30 and go until whenever. Metblogs will order some food for everyone, but drinks are on you (or McAngrypants if you compliment his slacks.) The Chesterfield does offer great Happy Hour specials until 7pm.
