PDX Food Chatter: Stein Says So
So – here’s a footnote to the whole Stu Stein shutting down Terroir Restaurant & Wine Bar and the issues he’s been involved in: a story on The Wine Press Northwest blog led me to a post Stein put up last week at a blog called earth2table. In it, he officially declares his restaurant closed as of Feb 1. He says simply: “This journey has come to an end, but as Semisonic poetically said in the song Closing Time: Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”
Does this mean Stein may surface somewhere else in Portland? I guess time will tell.
Wow, Semisonic? They’re quoting Semisonic now? Holy fuck, the terrorists have already won…..
