Greetings from Mexico
You may be asking yourself, what kind of idiot is blogging when they’re on vacation in Mexico, when they should be laying on the beach drinking margaritas? Well, I figure vacation is a time to do the things you enjoy, and one of the things I enjoy is web surfing and blogging, so here I am. Well, the real “here” is Sayulita, about 30 miles north of Puerto Vallarta. This seems to be a popular destination for folks from the Pacific Northwest, as we’ve met many Seattlites here. It’s a small fishing village which is still pretty unspoiled by the turistas. The weather’s been great, the food is awesome and the people are very friendly. Am I annoying you yet? Sorry about the Portland winter – I hope you all can head off to some kind of vacation soon, too. See you next week!

What is all that blue stuff in the sky?
You’re not kidding about Sayulita becoming a popular destination – I’m heading down there next week.
Well, I can see why it is popular. That is a beautiful view, with plenty of Sunshine….
Be sure, if you haven’t already, to go over to A Bicyclette (just down the street from where you are, next to the school and kind of across from the trailer park). And while you’re there, say hi to Bruno & Framboise from us (Barbara, Doug & Patrick from Portland).
Bicyclette is about 30 ft from our place and we had an excellent meal there a few days ago. Bruno was there in full force:)
