Can someone explain the rules about free food and beer to me? Because I get there and I’m confused about how much of a cheapskate I can insist on being. Is beer free too? Oh and I didn’t take a wallet last time because I didn’t know we were supposed to take them. I handed mine back and was handed another, which I handed back. Upon reflection, this was incredibly rude, but I thought I was being polite by not stealing from strangers. So just so I know, fries are free, beer is maybe free, wallets are free and there will be a cage fight between Brewcaster and the rest of Portland so I should bring my raincoat and some ones to stuff in the g-string of the girl walking around the ring holding up big numbers.
Where the hell is the etiquette book for blog meet-ups?
did anyone catch meet the brewer with Cam O’Connor of deschutes yesterday at the green dragon? i wanted to go but had a non-negotiable obligation… maybe a metblog meet up will fill the void.
Sadly, I’m leaving on a jet plane after work. And I was planning on going to this one, too. Pooh.
I live in a cage. Hey, honestly if I don’t show up, it will because my wife and I didn’t realize this is tonight. I will try to make radio contact with her today(her first day at new job) and see if we can coordinate showing up.
i said a couple days ago that I would go.
But I won’t be there. There are two too many sick people in my house that need to be waited on hand and foot.

Regarding meetup etiquitte: Metblogs has some cash to buy some appetizers. That’s about it. We really can’t afford buying drinks. Drinks are on you.

Hey, my comment wasn’t sarcastic, by the way, and I’m sorry it came across that way. I really never know in group situations what’s going on and I suck at being clear about it. The cage fight though, I’m pretty sure is on.
As a MetroBlogging Meetup virgin (until a few hours from now) I am commenting to
