Some sort of action @ Pio Square

There is some sort of Tuesday lunch action/protest going on down here in Pioneer Square. I am seeing signs for national healthcare and anti Bush and a blow up statue of liberty. Also, there is a huge piece of fabric of the Declaration of Independence that people are signing.

    i was there. now… read the above for today’s discovery of Portland’s downtown main attraction, a hidden attraction. the Weather Machine is kaputt. we need to get it fixed.

    OMG - I know! Last winter I was down there like 3 days in a row waiting for it to go off. Pioneer Square people kept saying it was shut off for one particular event or another. I think it is broken and they don’t want to admit it. I will dredge up my notes to see whom I spoke with.
