What's even more exciting is the LED banners on the inside of the buses to announce the major stops; when I can't hear the bus drivers, it's nice to know I can read it. Of all the failures of LA Metro transit, the one thing I missed was the fact that every bus stop was announced on the banner display inside the bus. So far only one bus in Portland I've taken has actually had the banners operational, but it's nice to know that they're coming into effect.
