Who? Your friendly Portland MetBloggers, that’s who.

We’ve tried to get together before, with less than stellar results. But this time? I’m betting that my emails liberally peppered with the word ‘beer’ helped incent this group.

Our gathering spot? The Lucky Lab on Hawthorne (we left the Tour de France to the inside crowd and nabbed a picnic table out back.) Sure, we talked about local blogs - the good, the bad, and what’s missing. But we also enjoyed meeting each other, putting faces to names, and drinking outside on a thoroughly gorgeous summer evening.

We’re going to do it again - but next time? We’ll invite you, too.
And we’ve learned our lesson - it’ll absolutely, positively be at a place where they serve PDX beer.
