Any Browncoats out there?
Is anyone else as excited as I am about the upcoming release of Serenity? Just to give you some idea of the fevered pitch that’s taken over my psyche, let me tell you that the moment the complete Firefly series on dvd got into the house, I was a woman possessed. For a solid week - nothing but back to back (to back to back) episodes. The anticipation of Serenity has me so distracted I even broke down and bought the 3 Dark Horse comics tying the series to the film. I think I’m officially obsessed. Now I’ve got a whole 37 days to decide which theater to see it in. As much as I loathe the strip of 82nd between Division and Holgate and the 11 mile commute, the Century 21 Cinemas offer not a poor seat in the house and always ends up being the #1 choice around chez Juju. Though I must say I am growing rather fond of Fox Towers. Bottom line, will either theater object to Firefly role-playing from audience members before the film begins?

Dude, I’m just as excited.
Well, maybe not comics excited, but excited nonetheless.
Firefly is the first series that has me acting like a giddy fanatic. I fully intend on seeing the first showing in my area.
Serenity Now!
Hells, yes.
It’s always amazing how many fellow Portlanders are browncoats!
Eastport Plaza’s not that bad. Just swallow yon hipster distain for the ugly suburban strip and realize us poor folks don’t get to pretty up our neighborhoods the way we’d like to. It may not be made of cob and it may be on an avenue synonymous with hookers and car lots… But it has some gorramn large screens. AND stadium seating.
Plus, the management’s very nice to us fans.

interesting info….
joss is a hero
What, only two referers from here? No one wants to see mysterious Summery (and Jossy) goodness that hasn’t been seen prior to last week?
Another Browncoat here… was blessed to attend one of the early screenings. I still have not recovered. Can’t wait to see the final release. with love, eidola
