Farewell Cornos

Farewell Cornos

Originally uploaded by dieselboii.

Watched the news last night and our friend Sam Adams informed us that the famous Cornos Market will be razed in order to dig an access shaft for the big pipe project. It will be sad to see it go even thought the sign and building have seen better days. Well, at least we won’t have raw sewage spilling into the willamette everytime it rains.

Farewell lifesize banana. Farewell giant apple. Farewell huge pineapple.

Sent from my phone, probably while hiding from the man.

I always thought it would have been smarter to put the Public Market down there. It’d have tradition and ease of construction on its side.
