Looking for that special valentines gift that is like no other? Well look no further. Tonight at the Velveteria, Portland’s own velvet painting museum is a showing by local artist Juanita. What could say, “I love you” more than a velvet valentine painting! Even if you don’t buy a painting the showing sounds like a blast. There is going to be music by DJ Shannon, mixtress of soul and also on view will be the private collection of the Velveteria. It’s where I’m going to be tonight. The showing is from 6-9pm.

The Velveteria is super cool and one of the things helping keep Portland fun and unique. The museum is located at 518 NE 28th. I’ll see you there!
