Last night I saw Laurie Anderson’s amazing “End of the Moon” show at the Arlene Schnitzer hall. As NASA’s artist-in-residence, Anderson conveyed a sense of wonder I haven’t felt since I was kid:

“But the thing I hadn’t realized was that
stars aren’t there in a random way
there’s a secret order in the sky
and the colors of the stars tell you their
age, their origin, how they began

and I never realized this before
I had never realized that I was living in an enormous
clock”
